The Panorama Panthers Boys and Girls Cross Country teams will get another taste of action this week when they head to Story City to participate in their next meet and hope to turn in good times.

The Panthers Cross Country teams will head to the Riverbend Golf Course in Story City to take part in their next cross country meet at 5:30 p.m. this Thursday. The Panthers have already participated in meets at Gowrie Municipal Golf Course in Gowrie, Madrid High School, Quarry Springs Park in Colfax and the Panorama Invitational at the Panorama West Golf Course in Panora.

At all of the meets so far this season the Panthers have fielded incomplete teams and were unable to earn points in the meet but still had runners turn in good times so far this season including Anton Uffhausen who turned in a school course record of 19:14 at the meet that took place at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course for the Southeast Valley Invitational which was his first 5K race ever earlier this season.

The Panorama Panthers Boys and Girls Cross Country teams will head back out on the course beginning at 5:30 p.m. this Thursday when they participate in the Roland Story meet in Story City.
