Friday, September 17th

9:14am: A deputy investigated a complaint of harassment in the 400 blk of Harding Street, Churdan.

2:21pm: A deputy assisted the Department of Human Services in the 800 blk of Hills Avenue, Churdan.

8:19pm: A deputy was advised of cattle on the road on W Avenue, south of Rippey. The deputy searched the area and was not able to locate the cattle.

8:26pm: A deputy received a complaint of a juvenile that ran away in the 400 blk of Harding Street, Churdan.

11:43pm: Deputies assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an intoxicated male at Sparky’s.

Saturday, September 18th

2:03am: A deputy responded to an alarm at the Grand Junction Casey’s.

2:24am: A deputy responded to the Pleasant Hill Church (1700 blk Redwood Avenue) for lights being left on.

4:04am: Jesse Whatley (28) of Brazoria, TX was booked into the Greene County Jail for public intoxication, and operating while under the influence 3rd or subsequent offence.

7:46am: A deputy investigated an animal complaint in the 800 blk of High Street, Churdan.

3:26pm: Deputies performed a welfare check in the 1600 blk of 243rd Street

6:56pm: A deputy performed a traffic stop on 257th Street near Meadow Avenue. During the traffic stop, the driver and passenger of the car had a no contact order in place. A male juvenile and Ariea Soll (18) of Kimballton, IA were arrested for violation of no contact order.

8:07pm: A male juvenile was booked into the Greene County Jail for a violation of no contact order.

8:48pm: A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 400 blk of West Paton Street, Paton

9:00pm: Ariea Soll (18) of Kimballton, IA was booked into the Green County Jail for violation of a no contact order.

9:02pm: A deputy investigated a light in the ditch in the 600 block of 220th Street.

10:44pm: A deputy performed a traffic stop on D Avenue and 140th Street. During the traffic stop the deputy located marijuana inside the vehicle. The deputy arrested a male juvenile for possession of marijuana.

11:34pm: Destiny George (18) of Jefferson, was booked into the Greene Jail for possession of controlled substance methamphetamine 1st offense, possession of controlled substance marijuana 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, September 19th

1:48am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate a vehicle in a hit and run.

1:55am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a domestic assault in the 300 block of East Garfield Street, Jefferson.

2:12pm: A deputy performed a welfare check in the 1800 blk of 264th Street.

5:07pm: A deputy investigated a gas drive off at the Paton Pit Stop (400 blk East Paton Street, Paton)

8:06pm: A deputy received a phone call about child custody questions.

9:05pm: A deputy performed a welfare check in the 200 blk of Adaza Street, Adaza.

9:13pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway in the 1700 blk of Highway 144.

11:11pm: A deputy tried locating a vehicle on 220th Street between Sparky’s in Jefferson and the Boone County line to perform a welfare check. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
