The fourth cross-country meet of the season for Greene County High School is today, just five days after the Rams ran at the Panorama Invitational at the Par 3 Golf Course at Lake Panorama. On tap for today is the West Marshall Invitational at the Lincoln Valley Golf Course east of State Center. This is a smaller meet with fewer teams than most meets and Greene County is the largest school involved.
Coach Jeff Lamoureux’s Rams were shorthanded at the Panorama meet. There aren’t enough girls out for the sport to qualify for a team score, and illness negatively affected the boys’ team. The coach is hoping the Rams are closer to full strength today.
Freshman Gavyn Winters was the top Greene County finisher at Panorama, while senior Logan Woodruff led the team in the first two meets.
