At the Guthrie County Fairgrounds the Relay For Life Guthrie County had their fight against cancer event Sunday. 

Cancer survivors and anyone affected by cancer participated in the Relay For Life Guthrie County. The event included a silent auction, cake walk, many live musical performances and a pie auction. The ceremonies opened with cancer survivors walking around the track surrounded by luminary signs. Committee Member Kim Durst says the community support made the difference.

“I think the cancer survivors really appreciate seeing everyone out and being a part of this event and It just shows the cancer survivors here in Guthrie County  that they are not alone in this fight.”

Relay For Life Guthrie County will still be accepting donations on their website to reach that $50,000 goal, and that information can be found on Raccoon Valley Radio.
