Adair County Health Services has recently partnered with Senior Life Solutions at Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.

Adair County Health System’s Senior Life Solutions provides an outpatient group counseling program for individuals that are over the age of 65. Director Dianne Allsup describes the type of people they take care of. 

“Senior adults that maybe have age related symptoms of depression or anxiety, people who maybe dealing with difficult life transitions, recent loss of a loved one, recent health diagnoses. We just help them kind of learn on how to transition through that.” 

The participants meet three times a week and Adair County Health Services can provide transportation within a 30 mile radius of Greenfield. The group staff includes board-certified psychiatrists, licensed social workers, a registered nurse, and other professionals committed to the emotional well-being of the seniors in the Adair County community.
