A reminder that today is the one and only performance of a family-friendly musical with History Boy Theatre Company in Jefferson.

“Schoolhouse Rock” is happening tonight at 6pm. The cast includes Samantha Schmidt, Kevin Paulsen, Yvette Bardole, Shannon Hobbs, and Michael Kennedy. Schmidt says they chose the nostalgic musical because of a grant History Boy received from Bringing Optimism and Opportunity to Students and Teachers (BOOST) of Greene County. There were special performances for the Greene County kindergarten through 6th graders and Paton-Churdan kindergarten through 8th graders held on Friday.

The public performance tonight is a free-will donation as a fundraiser for the non-profit organization to use for its winter shows. Additionally, chili and cinnamon rolls will be served as part of the free-will donation fundraiser.
