Paton-Churdan began the home portion of its high school volleyball schedule on Monday night when the Rockets hosted Orient-Macksburg. P-C won the match in four sets by scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 25-21 to improve to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs fell to 1-3.

Coach Makayla Sparr reports Paige Teeples led in kills with 13 and Emma Stream had seven ace serves. Taryn Baugh was the assist leader for the Rockets with 14.

The victory was the first of the season, the first at home, and the first of her young head coaching career for Coach Spaar.

Next on the schedule is a home date in Churdan vs. CAM (Anita) on Sept. 21.
