The Perry School Board approved a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) at their regular meeting Monday.
The Board approved a memorandum of understanding between the Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Division and the Perry Community School District for the Skip The Trip program which will allow students the ability to take their permit test in the school building rather than making a trip to take the test.
Also, the Board approved food service agreements with head start and the Perry Child Development Center and the District, revisions of board policies, personnel including hires, transfers, resignations and modifications and the redemption of outstanding school infrastructure sales, services and use tax revenue bonds, series 2011 which will save the District $55,255 in the process.
