An annual fundraiser is coming up later this week at the Jefferson Public Library.
The Friends of the Jefferson Library is hosting the fall book sale from September 17th-25th. The first day of the sale, this Friday, the book sale will only be open to Friends members, and memberships start at $5 for an individual. Anyone can sign up to be a Friend by going to the adult desk. The sale will then be open to the public from September 18th-25th. The final day will be bargain day, where patrons can purchase any item for half the price and fill up a brown paper bag for only $4. Items with the sale include used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, jigsaw puzzles and more.
The eight-day book sale will take place in the basement of the library. Proceeds from the book sale goes back to the library for supplemental purchases.
