The Adel City Council will have first readings of multiple amendments to ordinance provisions at their regular meeting Tuesday.

The Council will have first readings of amendments to ordinance provisions including, abandoned vehicles, alcoholic beverage control, elections, failure to assist, interference with official acts, public disorder and peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants.

Also, the Council will consider approving a change order, pay estimate and acceptance of the Adel Water System improvements, final plat of the ADM Elementary number two plat and making an award of a construction contract and approving construction contract and bond for the Southbridge Lift Station Improvements force main and lift station projects.

Finally, the Council will consider approving an amendment to the agreement for engineering services between the City of Adel and McClure Engineering, a preliminary plat of Weiser-Owen Acres and paperwork for a cost overrun loan for the wastewater treatment facility improvements and the first reading of an amendment to the zoning ordinance.

The Adel City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Adel City Hall.
