A Juvenile was injured in a car accident in Jefferson Friday.

According to the Iowa State crash report, deputies responded to the incident at North Grimmel Road. A 2016 Honda was traveling South on Grimmel, when driver a 14 year-old of Jefferson Juvenile swerved across the center line into the northbound lane and struck a 2017 Chevrolet driven by 48 years-old Nancy Kaufman of Grand Junction.

The crash report shows the juvenile sustained injuries and was transported by Life Flight Unit one to Iowa Methodist Hospitals.
