Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football has been sharp through their first two weeks of the football season, as they been excellent at home to start the season 2-0. They now will take the road for the first time this year tonight when they head up to Alleman to take on the Comets of North Polk. The host Comets come into the matchup 1-1 on the season after a setback at Pella for week 2, and now will be look to stay undefeated at home this year. North Polk was not ranked for this week but have been in previous weeks.
This is a good non-district matchup for both of these solid 3A schools, with the winner to get a key victory before district play opens up in a couple of weeks. The Tigers will be looking to follow a similar formula to their first two victories, which have included running the ball well, tackling well defensively, and winning the turnover battle as well.
You can listen to the game tonight on True Country K1079, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF app. First kick will be happening at 7:30 with pregame coverage to get going around 7:10, as the Tigers will be looking to be 3-0 by the end of the night.
