The Perry City Council approved a services agreement with Safe Building LLC at their regular meeting Tuesday.
Also, the Council approved a pay application to Woodruff Construction for the wastewater treatment facility improvements, a change order and pay request for the 2021 crack sealing project and approved the statement of completion and final acceptance for the project.
Finally, the Council approved an airport commission member, an agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for maintenance and repair of primary roads within Perry, authorizing the solicitation of a request for qualifications for a sewer cleaning and inspections contractor, the solicitation of a request for proposal for a qualified tree trimming and removal and approved the sale of unused and outdated equipment.
Also, the Council member for Ward 2, Dr. Randy McCaulley announced that after 11 years he will not be seeking reelection during the upcoming November 2nd city-school elections.
