The WCV volleyball team has had a rough start to the 2021 season. The struggles continued this past Saturday.

The Wildcats participated in a Clarinda tournament on Saturday. They started off the day against Nodaway Valley. They lost that series in two sets by the score of 21-13 in both sets.

WCV would go on to play the hosting Clarinda Cardinals next. Another series they lost in two sets. The Cardinals jumped out in front early and won  21-7 in the first and 21-11 in the second.

The Wildcats finished the tournament against Sydney. WCV lost both sets as well 25-10 and 25-17 respectively.

This puts the young 2021 season at 0-6 for WCV. They get a chance to get their first win of the season tomorrow. They’ll be taking on Des Moines Christian in Ogden at 6pm.
