United States Senator Chuck Grassley made a stop in Adair County to complete his 41st annual 99-County Tour on Wednesday.

This meeting allowed Grassley to meet Iowans all over the state including at small businesses, schools and community organizations. He took questions and comments from attendees. One of the biggest questions was if Grassley would run and he said he will make a decision before November 1st. Grassley tells Raccoon Valley Radio the factors he will take into consideration if he runs for U.S. Senate again.

“Wife, kids and what the people of Iowa are telling me”

Additionally Grassley explained how important the elections in 2022 are.

“The biggest inflation since 2008 and if you take a 20 year average way above the 20 year average. Its something that gives us a chance to the 2022 election to bring some sanity to federal spending.”

Senator Grassley held the meeting at the Hotel Greenfield and it was open to the public.
