As in-person programming has officially returned at the Perry Public Library, there are still COVID-19 precautions in place.
Library Director Mary Murphy says in-person programming started again on September 1st. With the ongoing public health crisis, Murphy says precautions will still be in place to keep attendees safe.
“We have carpets that we can place around the room so we will have social distancing going on. We will have masks available for the kids so we are encouraging some really good behavior as far as sharing germs but also trying to get back into that place where we have human face-to-face contact.”
Murphy tells Raccoon Valley Radio the library staff are really excited to get back to in-person programming as they have missed seeing their patrons.
