The Stuart City Council met in a special meeting Monday.

The Council approved the Happy Truck Stop liquor license and the Stuart Fire Department to use the old West Central Valley High School Sports Facility as a training facility. 

Items the Council tabled included the White Pole Maintenance Project for further discussion and a Project Restore Foundation Lease and will refer the matter for legal opinion. Stuart City Administrator Ashraf Ashour updated the Council on the progress of the American Rescue Plan funding.
