ADM Tigers football couldn’t have ask for much more on their first week, putting together a workmanlike performance against Gilbert, winning 41-7 to start the season 1-0.
One of the biggest impressions the Tigers team was able to make on week 1 was the running game, where as a team they were able to run the ball 41 times for 293 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for a 7.1 yard average.
The offensive line was a major reason for the success, as they were able to produce some major holes for the ball carrier throughout the evening, and ADM had minimal plays for no gain or a loss of yards from scrimmage.
Sophomore Brevin Doll was able to pick up his first 100 yard game of his career, rushing for 115 yards on 12 carries for 2 touchdowns. Senior quarterback Matt Dufoe was able to string together some nice runs with 12 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown as well.
The Tigers will be looking for similar success against a physical Ballard team this upcoming Friday night. You can listen to the game on True Country K1079 with first kick at 7 pm.
