Greene County senior cross-country runner Logan Woodruff talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about prospects for the 2021 boys’ team. “I think we can have a State team this year. We have two solid freshmen coming in, and they’ve proven themselves that they’re going to be on varsity for our first meet. Then, we have Ethan Frederick, Lucas, then me, Ethan, Jaxon Jadon, so solid talent there, too, so I think we have a State team, especially being bumped down to 2A this year.”

The Rams were to have opened the season at the Gilbert Invitational in Ames last Thursday, but course conditions after it rained in the morning caused that meet to be cancelled. Next up for the Rams is the West Central Valley Coed Invitational this Thursday.
