A Grand Junction man was sentenced to prison for a March incident in Jefferson. 

According to court documents, 56-year-old Martin Tolsdorf pled guilty to a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to five years in prison, to be served concurrently with another felony conviction, in which Tolsdorf was serving two years of probation, but had that revoked and sentenced to five years in prison. 

The charge stemmed from an executed search warrant of a home in the 200 block of North Locust Street at 10:13am March 16th. The warrant was related to an ongoing drug investigation. Several drug-related items were seized and tested positive for methamphetamine.
