Once again WCV head football coach Jim Lindsay sat down to talk about the 2021 season on the Wahl McAtee Tire & Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Page.

With the game constantly changing and new trends taking over. Lindsay was asked if his offense is a bit more modernized. I asked if he ran a no huddle offense. He said, “Uh, no. We’re pretty traditional when comes to we’re going to huddle up. We’re going to call a play and run our plays. Eventually I wouldn’t mind to do a little hurry up. But we’re still young.” He would continue, “I don’t want to put them in a position where they get a little overwhelmed. We’re going to stick to pretty tradition based. As we get more familiar we might speed it up. No, we’re pretty traditional. Huddle up and call a play.”

WCV and Lindsay will finally take the field this Friday against North Mahaska in Stuart. Kickoff starts at 7pm.
