While all of the physical work is completed on the Raccoon Valley Radio tower project, more fine tuning is taking place.
The tower project has consisted of replacing the east tower, replacing the porcelain insulators on all three towers, removing the lighting from the east and west towers and replacing the antennas and transmission line on the center tower for the 99.7FM KDLS signal which is all complete.
General Manager John McGee says crews from Wallace Tower are now in the process of fine tuning the different aspects of the 99.7FM signal. McGee says the plan is for this phase of the project to be completed by this weekend and the 1310 AM KDLS signal will be back to full power.
