A reminder for parents and guardians of kids in the Greene County and Paton-Churdan School Districts, there is an extension for students to continue to receive free meals.
The Iowa Department of Education has announced that free lunches will be given to all students throughout the entire 2021-22 school year. This is the second school year in which free lunches have been served to all students, due to the global pandemic. The free lunches program has been extended to help families and those impacted by the pandemic.
Parents and guardians don’t need to make a deposit in their child’s lunch account for the upcoming school year.
