It’s two days away from week 1 for Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football, and they will be looking to make a statement in week 1 against the Gilbert Tigers in Adel. This game will be a big one early for more clubs, as the winner will be able to springboard themselves into momentum for the early portion of the season.

Last year these two clubs played an outstanding football game, with Gilbert sneaking out of Adel with a 34-33 win, as ADM was stopped on the two point conversation on the final play of the game in overtime. ADM showed a lot of toughness in that game coming back from down 21, but will need to get out to a quicker start this year.

With the two teams familiar with each other, they will have an idea of tendencies between the two teams though with week 1 both sides will be seeing players getting their first varsity starts of their careers. The club that makes more adjustments throughout the game will give their team the best chance to win.
