The Panorama Panthers Football Team is preparing for the first action against another team when they travel to Ogden for a varsity scrimmage this Friday.
The Panthers will travel to Ogden for their varsity scrimmage at 7 p.m. this Friday to mark the first action against another team this year. Head Football Coach Mike Kauzlarich says in the lead up to the start of the season on August 27th against the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks, the Panthers have been working on fine tuning aspects of the game which will be put to the test this Friday.
“So, we are excited to get on the field against another team and just kind of see where we are at.”
This Panthers team will look vastly different than the team that had a successful season which led them to the second round of the playoffs last year but Kauzlarich says as the Panthers prepare for the upcoming season they will be focusing on limiting turnovers on offense, getting to the ball carrier on defense and not giving up big plays. Kauzlarich says they are also looking for players to step up to replace production that was lost with the graduating class of 2021 including the ongoing quarterback competition.
