After having a successful season last year, the Panorama Panthers Football Team is preparing for the upcoming fall football season.
The Panthers finished last season with a 6-3 overall record going 4-1 in conference play but eventually fell 21-19 to Pella Christian in the second round of the playoffs. After losing offensive and defensive production from the outgoing graduating class of 2021 head football coach Mike Kauzlarich says people may view the Panthers as an underdog.
“I think this year, I guess the way that I kind of look at us, is we are a wildcard, you know everybody is going to kind of doubt us. I’m excited for that, they’re excited for that. We are the underdog and that’s something that we are not used to but we are excited for that new role and we want to just go out there and upset some guys and make some noise throughout 1A football.”
The Panorama Panthers Football team will continue to prepare for their week one home game when the Tigerhawks of Colfax-Mingo come into town on August 27th.
