As a local festival continues today in Adel, there will be plenty of activities to keep people busy throughout the day. 

The 42nd Annual Adel Sweet Corn Festival will host many activities this afternoon including a classic truck show from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., food, craft, art and information vendors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., a scavenger hunt from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and a car show from noon to 4 p.m. 

There will also be activities taking place later in the day including a street party from 6 p.m. to midnight at 10th and Main Street and The Sons of Glady’s Kravitz at the Raccoon Valley Bank Stage and Pavilion.
