A Fort Dodge man recently had his charges dropped from an investigation by the Jefferson Police Department.

According to court documents, 39-year-old Jason Montgomery had a Class D Felony for third degree burglary and an aggravated misdemeanor for third degree burglary of a motor vehicle dismissed.

The dismissed charges stemmed from an alleged incident that took place between December 20th and 22nd in the 900 block of West Harrison Street. Court documents show that the Greene County Attorney’s Office made the motion to dismiss because it would be in the best interest of justice.
