The Adel City Council approved a technology order at their most recent meeting this past Monday.
The Council approved a technology order through the State’s BuyIT at Office of the Chief Information Officer Program which is funded by the COVID-19 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act which allows for the purchase of up to $9,500 in information technology equipment.
Also, the Council discussed the potential for a Highway 169 traffic signal study. In speaking with the Iowa Department of Transportation the suggestion for the Council was to revisit the issue once school begins.
Finally, the Council approved engagement agreements with Dorsey and Whitney and McClure Engineering in regards to the Xenia Rural Water District and discussed the potential for traffic regulations at the new Meadow View Elementary which more review of the area is needed before action could potentially be taken.
