2:52pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220 th Street near R Avenue.

4:20pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 200 block of Pearl Street, Farlin.

8:02pm: A deputy assisted with cattle out on Eaton Avenue near 190th Street.

9:08pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue.

12:24am: A deputy assisted with a power pole on fire near 210th Street and Orchard Avenue.

12:10pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Neola Avenue near 330 th Street.

1:30pm: Michael Matthews 25 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

5:27pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 700 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

6:14pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 700 block of Hill Street, Churdan.

10:33pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near E Avenue.

Sunday, August 8th

12:48am: A deputy investigated a complaint of an injured goose in the 2300 block of E Avenue.

12:59am: The Sheriff investigated a fire alarm in the court house.

12:01pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest at Henderson Park. Alicia Hawkins 31 of Jefferson was arrested for an arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance 1 st offense two counts and possession of drug paraphernalia.

12:05pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of South 19th Street, Grand Junction.

1:33pm: Alicia Hawkins 31 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3:06pm: A deputy removed a tree branch from the roadway in the 1800 block of R Avenue.

5:08pm: James Harris 34 of Woodward was booked into the jail for contempt of court.

6:20pm: Carly Hubby 43 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a violation of a protective order.

6:37pm: A deputy investigated a hit and run accident in the 300 block of Irving Street, Scranton. Jon Bushman 44 of Scranton was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 2nd offense. The accident is still under investigation.

8:50pm: Jon Bushman 44 of Scranton was booked into the jail for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 2nd offense.

9:47pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 700 block of Hill Street, Churdan.

10:02pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
