police-night

The Stuart Police Department hosted their 38th annual Police Night Out, which promoted engagement with law enforcement within the community on Tuesday afternoon at Lawbaugh Park.

The Night Out drew 170 people who took part in a cookout with inflatable bouncy houses, no cost raffle with kid toys and gift cards, Stuart police car and a firetruck tour. Stuart Police Chief Dave Reha said the weather did not disappoint.

“The weather is great, it is awesome, last couple years it hasn’t been that way but this time it was great.”

Additionally Reha said this event helps them relate to the community and see them as citizens to build relationships.
