A new facility project for Guthrie County Hospital continues to develop.
Director of Clinics Tina Nourse says the foundation of the Guthrie County Health Panora Clinic has been poured. She points out their current clinic has limited technology and needed more space due to expanding services and increasing the amount of providers. She says the new clinic will provide new services to Guthrie County citizens.
“With that in mind the building is designed to take care of individuals from birth clear up through adults. We will offer every type of medical service so: physicals, chronic health conditions such as diabetics, congestive heart failure, those kinds of things. Plus acute care, so if you have a sore throat or flu we have a walk-in clinic so you can just walk in the door and be seen during the work day. We offer immunizations for all ages.”
Additionally, the clinic will be located at 103 SE 13th Street in Panora and is 6,800 square foot. Other services the clinic will provide are separate entrances for sick and non sick patients, along with x-rays, family medicine , walk-in clinic, radiology and laboratory services. The estimated timeline for the clinic to be completed is the end of November.
