As the Adair Casey Guthrie Center’s baseball season came to an end with a final record of 13-24 the outlook on the program’s potential is still high.
The underclassmen that will return next year combined for a total of 560 at bats, 130 innings pitched and making the 2A Substate Semi Final in the 2020-2021 season . ACGC Head Baseball Coach Taylor Morris says that his players have progressed every year and now there is a new expectation moving forward.
“At minimum we have to be in the district final and obviously the rest of the years we hope we are further than that but that is the new expectation to get to that that point.”
Morris says that they still have to continue to improve for next year by getting better on the mound, playing solid defense and putting together good at bats.
