West Central Valley’s historic 2021 season added another accolade to their list.

Wildcat Freshman Ella Sand was honored for her breakout year. She earned a spot on the Class 2A 3rd Team All-State Team. It was no surprise that Sand would make the All-State Team. She led the team with hits at 48. She also stole 28 bases on 28 attempts. Defensively she had eight assists and 67 putouts. Which are big numbers for a freshman.

Earning a spot on the All-State Team as a freshman is quite the accomplishment. For WCV if Ella can have an even better season next year, the Wildcats will be hard to beat in 2022.
