The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) has announced a highway corridor preservation plan for an area in Dallas County.
The DOT provided public notice of a corridor preservation for U.S. Interstate 80 at the U.S. Highway 169 Interchange in DeSoto. Corridor preservation is a tool used by the DOT to preserve land for future highway needs.
The DOT may need to acquire additional right-of-way or property rights within the designated area.
