Robert Rubsam, Urbandale, was traveling westbound on Hwy 6 with a trailer behind his truck.  The trailer jack knifed, causing a bobcat to fall off the trailer and into traffic.  Damage to the trailer and bobcat were estimated at $10000.  No injuries were reported.

Aug. 2

Michael Peckis, age 51, 19671 Hilltop Ct, Perry, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

William Fargo, Creston, was traveling westbound on I80 near the 113 mile marker, when he hit a deer.  Damage was estimated at $10,000.  The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.  No injuries were reported.

A juvenile was traveling westbound on 165th Street when they lost control of the vehicle and it went into the ditch.  Damage was estimated at $1500.  The juvenile was cited for Operating Without A Valid Driver’s License.

Zachary Ruth, Dallas Center, was traveling in the 28000 block of Hwy 6 when he hit a deer.  Damage was estimated at $3500.  No injuries were reported.

John Nichols, age 22, 206 SW State St, Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.
