For residents in Dallas County, the wait is over to participate in the second summertime event. 

The Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Friday Fest will take place from 6-9:30 p.m. this Friday at Pattee Park. The second Friday Fest of the year will feature live music by Lil Red and the Medicated Moose Band. 

Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, yard games and refreshments including alcoholic beverages, but no glass bottles. There will be food available as well from the Perry Fire Department Association, the Perry High School Junior Class and a food truck.
