A summer activity is continuing in downtown Jefferson.
Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community is encouraging everyone to participate in the Selfie Summer Safari. Tourism member Joyce Curth says there’s about 50 items on the list that are concentrated in the downtown area.
“It just lists all kinds of things to walk around and see in Jefferson. You can mark (them) off on your paper as you go along. There’s also a space on the paper for drawing. Something that you really enjoyed. You can draw a picture, you can take selfie I suppose and put on there. Then you can turn that in (to the Welcome Center), and those will go in an album for people, they can look at all those pictures.”
Curth says the Selfie Summer Safari is a free activity and the lists are available at the Welcome Center, the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower or Sebolt Wrestling Academy. You can also click the link below to access the list of items.
