For those looking for fun and food, a Perry eatery will be hosting an outdoor event today. 

Bett and Bev’s BBQ in Perry will be putting on its first ever outdoor event today running from 5-9 p.m. The event will feature a whole hog roast that people will get to enjoy. The meal will consist of whole hog pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw and cheesy potatoes for $15. 

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says while it isn’t a chamber event they are a chamber member and encourages people to attend the event as a celebration of two years for Bett and Bev’s in Perry. 

“They will be celebrating their second year here in Perry. They are doing a hog roast and they have live music by The Bushmen. The library just did a program with them as far as how to do a hog roast so that’s exciting that there is different collaboration within the community but we encourage people to check that out and celebrate their two year anniversary.”

The event will take place at Bett and Bev’s BBQ in Perry.
