A Fort Dodge man recently had his charges dismissed in Greene County District Court.

According to court documents, 39-year-old Jason Montgomery had his Class D Felony charge for third degree burglary and an aggravated misdemeanor for third degree burglary of a motor vehicle dismissed. Court documents show the reason for the dismissal was that it would be in the best interest of justice.

The Jefferson Police Department investigated a late December incident where Montgomery was accused of illegally entering a residence in Jefferson and burglarizing a vehicle that same evening.
