Guthrie County has started to implement new technology inside of their courtroom. 

They have added a bigger television monitor and made improvements to the sound system. These improvements help jurors  watch video evidence and listen to testimony. County Attorney Brenna Bird says these improvements will make the court process faster and easier. 

“I think the fact that these TVs are better, bigger and the sound is better will make it easier to fully evaluate all the evidence. You know everyone hears in different ways too and if someone can’t hear as well they would not have all the evidence, so this really does allow us to have fair trials and be more efficient trials.” 

The court system out of Des Moines funded most of the project along with a small investment  by the county.
