ADM Tigers softball will be looking to keep their offense going next week when they go to the state tournament in Fort Dodge, and one of the reasons that they have been so successful and continue to be successful is the depth of their lineup.
The Tigers have been able to score in a variety of ways this postseason as they were able to tally seven extra base hits in their win over Carroll, which included three home runs. In their game against Bondurant – Farrar, the Tigers were able to get some very nice at bats, with seven hits on the night, six singles and a home run from senior Brooke Hickey. One of those singles turned out to be a walk off hit for Brynn Busta, as ADM has forced pitchers to work hard to record outs this postseason. The Tigers as a team have only had eight strikeouts against their lineup since postseason began, which is a great number and encouraging sign while also recording four walks as well.
All ADM Tigers state coverage next week will be broadcast on True Country K1079, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF app. First pitch next Tuesday against Clear Creek – Amana will be happening at 3:30.
