The Guthrie Center City Council met Monday night.
First, the Council approved to install new shingles on the Riverside Park shelter house at a cost of $674. Then the Council approved to appoint Rod Rummelhart as the City’s EMC Insurance representative until he decides to step down. The Council approved that the City will be responsible for initial cost of the rocks and clearing snow of the rock area for Kysty Melton’s property. Also the Council approved the signing of the statement of partial completion on the bathhouse project. Finally, the motion has not been approved yet to hire a part-time employee that works ten hours per week in the office.
