
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved multiple board appointments at their regular meeting Tuesday.
The Board appointments included Teresa Wichtendahl to serve on the Adel Library Board of Trustees and a Magistrates Appointing Commission member in Human Resources Director Beth Deardorff. Also, the Board heard a Habitat for Humanity capable program presentation.
Finally, the Board approved the third and final reading of a proposed amendment to the Chapter 45 Dallas County Zoning Ordinance. The amendment allows for those in land zoned C-2 to hold outdoor live music concerts after obtaining a conditional use permit from the Board of Adjustment.
The Board also gave out 17 different certificates of appreciation to employees for years of service ranging from five years up to 25 years.
