ADM Tigers softball was ready to roll on Monday night, as they were guided by three home runs and a shoutout from pitcher Aliya Yanga in a 7-0 victory over Carroll. The Tigers move to 24-10 and guarantee themselves another game and Carroll ends their season at 13-22.
ADM was able to rely on extra base hits throughout the evening as they were able to get seven of them with four doubles and home runs from Aliya Yanga, Brynn Busta, and Brooke Hickey, as the Tigers were able to use those runs to spearhead a two run first inning, a three run third inning, and a two run fifth inning.
Yanga was able to put up some great numbers as she only gave up two hits on the night while picking up nine strikeouts. She was able to pitch around a couple of jams as she was solid all night long, helping put the Tigers into the championship game.
The Tigers will be taking on the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays in the championship game tonight in Adel at 7 pm. You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:45.
