Free swimming lessons are coming up with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

There are three weeks of free swimming lessons offered this year, starting with Jefferson Family Dentistry sponsoring the week of July 12th-16th, followed by Home State Bank for July 19th-23rd and Farmers Mutual Insurance for July 26th-30th. Each day will be level 1 and 3 swimmers from 9:30-10:15am and level 2 and 4 swimmers are from 10:30-11:15am.

All lessons will take place at the Jefferson Municipal Pool and registration is on a first come, first served basis with space limited to 12 people per swim level. JPRD stipulates your swim level must be on record or you will not be able to sign up. Call the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson at 515-386-3412 or stop by to register.
