One last reminder of what public buildings are closed today in Jefferson in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse, Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Extension Office, Jefferson Post Office and Jefferson Public Library are closed today. The Greene County Community Center and the Jefferson Municipal Pool are open normal hours today. 

Due to the holiday, garbage routes in Jefferson will be delayed by one day and will go back to normal schedules the following week.
