A reminder that a new exhibit opens today at the Greene County Historical Museum in Jefferson.

The “Dig It! The 1950s, ‘60s & 70s” features several items from Greene County residents as part of the newest exhibit at the museum. With the museum opening at 9am, there will also be a panel discussion about those decades at 10. The panelists include Andy McGinn, Rolfe Blasee, Terry Rich, Carole Custer, Quentin Minnehan and Alan Robinson. The free program will be moderated by historical society board member Chuck Offenburger.

Museum Executive Director Roger Aegerter encourages everyone to check out their other exhibits and displays, as a majority of the items were donated by Greene County residents.

Admission to the museum is free, as is the panel discussion event. Free-will donations will be accepted.
