With the return of the Greene County Fair to its full slate of activities, there is also the return of a popular food option that supports a non-profit organization.
Greene County ISU Extension Director Lori Mannel says they are offering punch cards to the Clover Cafe again. She points out punch cards are a convenient way to pay for meals through the Clover Cafe that is used as the main fundraiser for the Greene County 4-H Foundation.
“One-hundred-percent of the net proceeds goes back to our Greene County 4-H program. So as many of you know that we pay for kids’ scholarships for camps, we have high school senior scholarships, we will help cover anybody that’s on financial circumstances, and will help pay for kids’ projects. So the 4-H Foundation is very involved in our 4-H program.
The punch cards are available in $5, $10 or $20 increments. Those will be available during the week of the fair from July 6th-12th or at the Extension Office in Jefferson.
