For those looking to join the Dallas County Fair Board, the election will take place next week. 

The annual Dallas County Fair Board election will be on Saturday, July 10th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the gazebo on the Dallas County Fairgrounds. The general public is encouraged to vote and there are five open positions this year. 

For those wanting to have their name on the ballot, candidates must be at least 18-years-old and live in Dallas County. Interested individuals submit their name, mailing address,  phone number and a short summary explaining why they would like to serve on the Board.

Entries must be mailed to the Dallas County Fair Association at PO Box 71 Adel, Iowa 50003 by 5 p.m. July 9th.
